Millions of people had picnics and barbecues 

to mark the queen's platinum jubilee  

 

One of the largest picnics took place 

in windsor where around 3 000 people  

took part 

 

We caught up with 

some of those celebrating

 

We're here today to celebrate the 

queen 70th jubilee in windsor park  

 

I'm really happy to be here to celebrate 

 

I'm here for the jubilee and my birthday  

 

The queen's been like our queen for 70 years in windsor so it's like quite kind of a big thing

 

We're here to sing the long walk 

 

The queen's done so much for the country and we have to give her something nice to listen to  

 

When she's here in the castle uh, there's a 

flag that's put up to show that she's here  

 

I've never been to a party this big ever 

 

We've got indian food, cakes, sandwiches and fruit

 

I'm wearing pearly cream clothes 

that my mom made with lots of help  

by my friends that gave me buttons to make it  

 

My message to the queen is thank you 

for all your hard work to make our ?to  

make our country the best it can be 

 

It's been amazing and i think she's done it really well  

 

She's pushed through so many tough 

times 

 

I really hope that she will reign for a lot longer because she's a 

good queen
